What our guests are saying
Great quiet location. Excellent rooms. Bathrooms fantastic with excellent water pressure. Clean and maintained to a high standard. Great bbq area. Extremely accommodating owners and staff. Will always stay here when in Tamworth
“Peaceful & Awesome hostess/chef!”
We were looking for a stopover on our way home. Set on the outskirts of Tamworth, we could not have found a nicer place for our overnight stay. The motel room was spacious and fresh. The area peaceful and relaxing and Carmen can certainly cook up a storm if you’re hungry – five star restaurant food! Plenty of room for the kids to kick a ball around outside, or chill inside. It is our place to go when down that way again, and recommend it to anyone looking at staying in the area. Thank you Carmen.
“Highly recommended! ”
One of the best country places to stay that I have experienced. Spacious room, great spa, very comfy bed and pillows and lovely wrap around verandah. Friendly welcome and everything was spotless and clean. Very happy to stay again and recommend. It is a couple of minutes outside the town but well worth the effort.
Stayed January 2016, travelled as a couple
Easy to find, can see it from the New England Highway, has MOTEL written large on the roof if in doubt. My room was quiet, spacious, airy, spotless and everything looked new and worked. Excellent and friendly service. Plenty of space (grass) if visiting as a family for children to run about on.
We stayed overnight here on our way to Sydney. I’d forgotten to book a room which was wheelchair accessible for my son. When we arrived I spoke to Carmen who made arrangements for us to have dual rooms – one of which had easy wheelchair access, a large bathroom which had been modified to accommodate the chair & easy access between the rooms. The rooms were large, extremely clean and my 2 boys loved having a room to themselves. Finding a place on a road trip where we can shower our son without all the heavy lifting that is usually required was perfect. It was like having our own bathroom with us. My boys are asking if we can go back and stay for a bit longer next time and I am hoping to be able to do just that. Thank you Carmen for looking after us so well. Regards.
A great place to stop over from a long trip from Adelaide to the Gold Coast. Very clean rooms, clean sheets and bathrooms were well above what I was expecting. For an extra $10 you could upgrade to a massive room with a separate lounge. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Definitely my place to stay for future visits into Tamworth. Believe me you will not be disappointed. Free internet also. However make sure you hook up a hot spot as only one device can connect and that is it.
Faultless. The rooms are bright, airy and spacious. So well maintained that it could have been constructed yesterday. The staff are most helpfull and the room service is without peer. Make a point of eating here, do not bother to drive around looking for a restaurant. The menu is compact but everything is excellant. The big break fast is a must…
